Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: June 2, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules that everyone using Secret Agents AI Business Index must follow. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and referral to law enforcement.
1. Content You Must Not Submit
You agree not to submit, publish, or transmit any content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, obscene, harassing, threatening, discriminatory, or that incites violence or hatred toward any group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age;
- is fraudulent, deceptive, or designed to mislead users — including fake businesses, misrepresentation of services, undisclosed paid reviews or endorsements, and fabricated testimonials;
- infringes or misappropriates third-party intellectual-property rights, including unauthorized use of trademarks, logos, copyrighted text or images, or trade secrets;
- violates third-party privacy or publicity rights, including by publishing personal information about an identifiable individual without consent;
- promotes or facilitates illegal goods or services, including illegal drugs, unlicensed financial services, or weapons offered in violation of law;
- purports to offer regulated professional advice (e.g., medical, legal, financial, tax) in a manner that violates applicable licensing or disclosure requirements;
- contains malware, viruses, or any code intended to harm or surveil users;
- includes content sexually exploiting or endangering minors, in any form;
- is spam, including bulk submissions of unrelated profiles, repeated submissions, link-farming, or other manipulative practices.
2. Reviews and Endorsements
Reviews on the Service must reflect honest opinions of real customers. You may not:
- buy, sell, trade, or solicit fake or undisclosed reviews;
- incentivize reviewers in a way that biases the review or that fails to disclose the material connection between the reviewer and the business, as required by the FTC Endorsement Guides and 16 C.F.R. Part 465;
- suppress, hide, or selectively display only positive reviews to create a misleading impression of overall sentiment;
- submit reviews about competitors that you do not own or operate;
- modify imported third-party reviews in a way that misrepresents the reviewer's opinion.
3. Conduct You Must Not Engage In
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or its infrastructure without our prior written consent;
- bypass, disable, or circumvent any security, authentication, or rate-limiting feature;
- access or attempt to access another user's account or content, or attempt to impersonate another business;
- use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service beyond what is permitted by our robots.txt and our published interfaces;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service, the servers or networks used to host the Service, or other users' use of the Service;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service, except to the extent applicable law expressly prohibits such a restriction;
- use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications or to harvest personal information.
4. Use of AI Features
AI-assisted features are provided to help you draft and refine your profile. You may not use them to:
- generate or publish content you know to be false or misleading;
- impersonate a real person or entity that you are not authorized to represent;
- generate content prohibited by Section 1 of this AUP.
5. Reporting Violations
To report a suspected violation of this AUP, email support@teamsecretagents.com. Reports should include a link to the offending content, a description of the violation, and your contact information. Copyright complaints should follow our DMCA Policy.
6. Enforcement
